NORWICH VERMONT ORAL HISTORY
Did you ever want to find out more about Norwich, Vermont?
Do you want to let our future generations understand what
it was like growing up in Norwich? Well here is your
chance. On January 30 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm there will
be a discussion from Gregory Sharrow of the Vermont
Folklife Center to talk about Oral History. This will be
followed by a presentation by CATV from 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
on how to video tape an Oral History.
This will be a start of a town wide project sponsored by
the Norwich Public Library, the Norwich Historical Society
and CATV to interview and record as many Norwich residents
as possible. No matter what age you can be interviewed and
record your memories of Norwich.
Please come to the Norwich Public Library on Saturday,
January 30 at 11:00 am for our kick off of this fine
project. For more information you can call either one of
the sponsoring organizations.
