INTERNET AND VERMONT MEDIA EXCHANGE USAGE
CATV offers various ways of getting your message out to the
public. Besides airing your production on channels 8 and/or
10 we also have the ability to put your production on our
web site or share it with other public access stations
around Vermont with the Vermont Media Exchange.
In order to do this you must create a “Creative Commons
License” which goes with your production. There are seven
various licenses that you could assign to your video. This
must be done at the end of the video and will be assigned
to the Vermont Media Exchange. Listed below are the various
titles.
1.
Public Domain
2. Attribution
3. Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works
4. Attribution-Noncommercial
5. Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike
6. Attribution –No Derivative Works
7. Attribution – Share Alike
Please review the various licenses with the CATV Staff to
find out what best works for you. Remember, we cannot put
anything on the internet or the Vermont Media Exchange
without a creative license.
I choose___________________________________________as my

I understand the meaning of each license and give CATV
permission to put your work on the Internet or the Vermont
Media Exchange.
