HOW TO USE OUR VIDEO ON DEMAND, VODCASTS AND PODCASTS

CATV has really expanded our programs through the internet and ITunes. You can now receive VODCASTS and PODCASTS of our programs and government meetings on our website. You can even download them to ITunes. Please read the information below to learn how to vodcast and podcast, along with watching our programs and government meetings.

 As you look at our web site you have noticed an old tab, called “Watch Our Programs” and a new tab called “Vodcasts and Podcasts”. These are various ways that you can watch our programming and government meetings on the web or ITunes.

First of all, on the “Watch Our Programs” tab, just click on it and you will come to a page that says “Video on Demand Library”. Below the title you will see Search and Browse by Category. Click on the Browse button and it will list all the programs and government meetings by name. Click on the name and the various meetings or programs will appear on the page. Click on the image and the (with a short delay) will start playing. Please note that you will need Quicktime to see these videos. Quicktime is a free download on our home page for computers that don’t already have that program.

The next way to watch and hear our programming is clicking on the “Podcasts and Vodcasts” tab. If you click on the podcasts link or vodcast link you will see a list of all of our programs and government meetings. Just click on those and will see and/or hear our programs and government meetings. If you follow the instructions below, you can subscribe your meetings to ITunes. We also have provided you with a free ITunes download.

ITunes is the way you can preserve our programs and government meetings. Because of space we will only keep government meetings on for a month after the original broadcast. In order to preserve these government meetings you must subscribe to ITunes (a free subscription in available on our "Podcast and Vodcast" page). Once you subscribe to ITunes all the programs will be downloaded to that platform. You will receive podcasts and vodcasts at the same time. It will also ask you if you want these programs or meetings by putting "get" beside the program. If you check "get" it will be downloaded to both podcast and vodcast on ITunes.
