CATV Guidelines & Procedures for Producers

BASIC CATV PRODUCTION AND PRODUCER GUIDELINES

CATV has a policy that all programs used with our equipment must be aired on our station.  They can either be aired on channel's 8 or 10  on the Comcast Network in the Upper Valley.  All raw footage that is recorded with our equipment must be downloaded immediately and edited promptly.  A CATV staff member will gladly work out a time frame for each producer.

In order to broadcast programs on channels 8 or 10 the following video and audio qualities must be met by each producer:

VIDEO QUALITY

1.  The video quality must be clear. 

AUDIO QUALITY

1.  The audio quality must be heard at a normal level on the television.

2.  The audio level will not be over modulated.

3.  The audio and the video must be in sync.
